Through biomimicry, Gestures draw inspiration from hyperbolic crochet forms found in marine animals that create ruffle-like mantles allowing them to glide underwater.

Drawing and modeling these forms created molds that enable structural glass folds to solidify a fluid motion in space, which comes to life through light and translucency. 

Gestures are a series of rhythmic glass folds that imitate motion in nature.
